Twin Lakes Memorable Moments

Caleb: I liked tubing without the boat turned on, and watching Jacob skiing forever.

Beth: when I skied, and knee boarding in the boat. we had a power outage for two days because a storm blew a tree on a power line. we got free ice cream

Jacob: When I got up and skied for 10 or more minuets.

Michael: beating everyone by a mile wake boarding and eating 3 full bowls of free ice cream

Rebekah: Well, of course, the big windstorm that made us lose power and water. And when the store gave us free ice cream because the freezer didn't have any power, so it was melting. Then, the time I got up on the skis and cut across both wakes, and my first time wake boarding, when I got up on the third try and went over the wake (and stayed up) completely by accident. Then second to last time on the boat, when I kind of sort of got good at drop skiing. I was having a hard time, but each time I got back up I went a little farther, until I went over the wake and back twice. When I fell, I kept losing a ski, just one, and so by my last time, I was able to stay up for a few seconds, long enough to think "Darn, there goes my ski, now I'm going to fall." Seeing the eagles was big too. On our way through the lily pads to the other lake, we saw fish and lots of huge birds, then we saw the eagle's nest there, then we went back to our lake. And in our lake, there was a new eagle's nest, and it had a mom bald eagle and two babies, it was absolutely awesome. And all the crafts were super fun, and tubing in Grandpa's new tube.
