Daniel: He likes to "read" Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame to himself (I think he likes the small 3x4" size). With mom, he loves Bulldozer and Are You my Mother? repeatedly.

Rebekah: Percy Jackson and the Olympians- amazing books, tons of action, super exciting, and I love the greek myths. Nobody's Princess, about Helen of Troy, I also like the greek culture in it. And then Harry Potter, which I don't really even need to describe cause everyone knows they're awesome.
