Bend trip

Jacob's high school lacrosse team had games in Bend and Sisters Friday night and Saturday morning, so we took the whole family, and spent the night in a hotel in Bend (the team slept at the Sisters high school).  He played a lot for JV and a little for Varsity, and did well (scored a goal on Saturday for JV!)  Both teams barely lost after great comebacks on Friday, and both won handily on Saturday.  I took most of my pictures of the siblings on the sidelines, though:)

Nathan:  was really sad we didn't get to sleep in a hotel a 2nd night, too:)

Nathan also served as 'referee' for Daniel's faceoffs (Friday night the stadium had side grassy areas, so Nathan was the tackler while the other boys passed the ball around:)

Daniel was SO happy his friend was there, too (a boy in his kindergarten class has a big brother on Jacob's team)

Joseph:  liked watching (Disney's) Frozen again during Friday night's Varsity game (they were frozen themselves after the JV game, so we went and got dinner, and let them stay at the hotel with Beth and Michael watching them, and the movie:)  He also liked watching the games, and playing catch/games on the side with Daniel.

Caleb:  'nothing'  (he liked watching and talking strategy with Michael and dad, and was excited to see his lacrosse coach Saturday morning, whose son plays on both teams with Jacob)

Beth:  It was freezing cold, yet I managed to get sunburned.

Jacob:  The bus ride was fun.
