Excited or sad about school starting and WHY?

Joseph: sad that the kids won't be home to play with me

Caleb: sad because I don't like it--when you're in kindergarten you don't get lunch

Beth: i am sad because i have work.

Jacob: I'm excited because I get math tests.

Michael: exited because summer got boring

Rebekah: Well, I'm excited to see my friends more often, but I'm very sad to be going back to all that rushing from class to class, with tons of rude and annoying people who try to cheat off me, and all the homework, and it'll be worse this year because I'll be in Algebra, and I've seen that math book and it's SCARY! Hopefully this year I'll have my friends in my classes, and maybe it'll be better being one of the 'big people' in the school.

Daniel: sad his personal pick-er-uppers will be gone; happy to be free to "putter", sad his squisher will still be here:)

MOM: Excited to get back on a better schedule for getting up in the morning, family scriptures and bedtime, sad to be on a schedule with less room for flexibility.
