Carving Jack-O-Lanterns

Nathan: LOVED his Nathan-sized pumpkin that he could carry himself, and was so excited to get to a face cut into it. He also liked trying to get the 'guts' out (copying how the others were doing it).

Daniel: mom and dad helped cut his TWO pumpkins (one bought with mom, and one from the preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch). He wanted the same smiley face on both:) Too yucky cleaning it out for him, though.

Joseph: "It was weird and fun and disgusting."

Caleb: getting the pumpkins guts out was disgusting, but carving the pumpkins was fun. (he also had two pumpkins, one from shopping with mom and one from going to the pumpkin patch with his friend; he carved both all by himself; Rebekah and mom helped clean them out, though)
Beth: it was disgusting

Jacob: It was fun, and mine had a bunch of squishy, slimy pumpkin insides.

Michael: Mine was very open for interpretation. (Aka, hollow but completely blank)

Rebekah: i decided against an actual face and did a flower and swirls. Curved lines are not easy to carve.
