Last Wednesday was our first day of school (though Michael and Jacob didn't go, because it was orientation day at the middle school and high school for 7th and 9th graders, and new students). Rebekah still had to go for band's 'elementary school tour.'
Nathan: liked having Michael, Jacob and Jacob's friend to play with on Wednesday after the other kids left
Daniel: was really sad he slept through scriptures (I had such a hard time getting the two of them down the night before, that I admittedly didn't try terribly hard to get them up:P) so he and mom and Nathan read scriptures again after he woke up, and said our prayer. Happy mom moment:)
Joseph: is very grumpy and tired right now, and says 'it was awful' (he has a teacher we've had twice already, and like).
Caleb: Seems like it went by really fast, but it seems like we've been doing it for days already. His teacher (who we LOVE) is out with a brand-new baby, coming back in January, so he's got a teacher Jacob liked for a few subjects.
Beth: My 7th 'first day' of school.
Jacob: ok was not bad not good easy though
Michael: i liked my first day. First, 3 hours of computers, then lunch, then a sub in history(sub on first day FTW)
Rebekah: Well, the first day of school- lets be honest, it always sucks. But it wasn't too bad this year. I'm taking all advanced or music classes, most of which are turning out to be interesting and challenging, which is nice because most of my classes are small and have mostly quality people in them. So, decent last first day of high school, hopefully it'll be a good year.
