Our one-and-only trip to Cedar Point Amusement Park (near Cleveland, OH) on June 26, 2012

We were happy to have my parents join us--much easier to divide into groups that way (grandma and I were happy to take the non-crazy-rides group, and grandpa and Kurt enjoyed the crazy-rides-group).

Nathan:  loved the rides he could go on, but was frustrated that he was one inch too short for many.  He cried when we made him get off the ‘Roadster’ at the end of the ride, but was happy to figure out we could go again after a short wait (all his rides had short waits, at least!)

Daniel:  loved the Frog Hopper ride, and bumper cars (he and Caleb rode over and over after Joseph went off with the ‘big’ kidsJ.)

Joseph:  liked Millenium Force, Corkscrew, the Iron Dragon and Blue Streak (he didn’t like anything with the younger kids:P)

Caleb:  Fun!  Favorite was the train roller coaster.

Beth:  I liked the Millennium Force (but we had to wait in line for an hour!), the Wicked Twister (a little scary), and the Raptor.

Jacob:  Millennium Force was my favorite ride

Michael:  It was all fun, Millennium Force was especially good

Rebekah: I loved going on as many crazy rollercoasters as possible. The dragster was especially good- straight up and down with corkscrews, and it goes at 120 mph- and then its over before you even realize it started and I just felt so accomplished for riding it.

Gail:  It was HUGE!!  We did most of the ‘kiddie’ rides, because the lines weren’t bad.  Very hot, of course, and we were all exhausted, but so glad we took a ‘day off’ of church history sites to play!
