Three favorite books or series, and why you like them?

Nathan:  Sandra Boynton books (Blue Hat, Green Hat is a favorite, because he can 'read' it himself), Spot the Dog books (we do love dogs around here, especially the stuffed variety:), and the Lego Ninjago books we checked out from the library (he likes the pictures:).

Daniel:  Put Me in the Zoo because he shows all the things he can do.  Magic School Bus books because the bus turns into something else.  And magazines--lego magazines, because they have fun sets and things to build.

Joseph:  Harry Potter series because I like it.  And  the Percy Jackson books, and the Kane Chronicles because they're interesting.

Caleb:

Beth:  Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus because they are about greek and roman myths. The Kane Chronicles because they are about Egyptian myths. Alcatraz because the author writes them so good and they are so funny and witty.

Jacob:  Ender's Game because it's a well-written, exciting story.

Michael:

mom:  We love the DK Eyewitness books in non-fiction.
